I saw Mr A Sharma in July, I need 2 surgeries to repair a fistula. The first to stop the leakage the 2nd to close the fistula. Sadly due to my health I cannot have the 2nd one, but the first one after listening to Mr Sharma I can have he was very reassuring. Mr Sharma was very caring and positive explaining both results, he took care to make me comfortable and at ease. I have been given time to decide if I want to go ahead with the procedure, I am under no pressure which is a relief. Everything was explained to me without feeling rushed and the advice I was give was much needed. I was very happy with Mr Sharma's patience and care. Thank you very much Mr Sharma

Rude and arrogant would not listen to a word I said in fact I couldn’t get a word in he talked over me every time I spoke. This was my second attempt at a consultation with him at the first I was totally dismissed after I tried telling him some of my symptoms and said I need referring to a different hospital. Had my 2nd consultation with him at the hospital he made the appointment with to yet again be treated like I was inadequate by him..all he kept reffering to were scans from 3 years previous I have since had surgery and things have changed greatly since but he wasn’t interested in discussing anything with me just wanted me out of his office ASAP. No examination no questions regarding my symptoms or pain in fact Mr Sharma it’s agony every single day had you bothered to listen to me...very disappointed as I really thought from his reviews that I was hopeful he would help. No questions no examination just the usual when a doctor can’t be bothered probably IBS but how would you know you never looked at me or asked any symptoms....very very disappointed only glad I didn’t go private would want a refund

Response from Mr Abhiram Sharma

very very disappointed by this review and really hope and believe that none of my patients should feel this way. I cannot go into any clinical details here but I was only being very very honest and feel that I have made the appropriate decision to not offer surgery and refer to the appropriate person. Apologies that you felt this way
